Joel Chakra is CEO & Founder of Chakra Industries. He was one of the five original members at a healthcare automation company that achieved hypergrowth over a decade and acquired over 200 health system customers and was valued at $4b. Joel has a passion for building companies from the ground up and most recently was General Partner at a venture studio that built four companies within a year — all of which were funded by tier-one venture funds. He has built and scaled the partnership, marketing, operations, and project management divisions throughout his career. He also served as a CEO’s Chief of Staff, helping align multiple divisions during periods of growth, and fundraising activities.
As founder of Chakra Industries, Joel works with venture funds and technology entrepreneurs across many industries, helping them build operational efficiencies, understand GTM strategies, recruit top talent, and how to foster the right investor relationships. Joel currently serves as Board Director for several venture-backed technology startups including Magenta Care Continuum, Seam Technologies, and Healia Health. Joel also serves as Board Director for 127 Haven, a non-profit that is focused on building families instead of orphanages for the marginalized children of Uganda. Previously, Joel worked as an independent consultant helping technology and design companies in Washington, D.C., and helped build and scale web development companies in Los Angeles, CA. Joel received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Liberty University and resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three children.
